Our foundation
The Bible is our final authority for what we believe and how we live.
Our faith rests in Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word. These statements summarize the convictions that guide our preaching, teaching, and church life.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice. We believe God has preserved His Word, and we receive the King James Bible as His completely trustworthy, preserved Word in English. It is the Bible we use for preaching and teaching.

Why the King James Bible?We believe in one God, eternally existing as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three Persons are coeternal and equal in power and glory. God is holy, sovereign, just, merciful, and worthy of our worship.

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, truly God and truly man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead. He is our only Saviour and the only Mediator between God and man.

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He indwells every believer, seals believers unto the day of redemption, and enables them to understand God’s Word, grow in holiness, and serve Christ.

We believe God created man in His image. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world. All people are sinners and are separated from God apart from His saving grace. Every person has value as one made in God’s image, and every person needs salvation.

We believe salvation is the gift of God, provided through the finished work of Jesus Christ. It is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. These are inseparable responses to the gospel; neither earns salvation. Good works, baptism, and church membership cannot save.

We believe those who have truly trusted Jesus Christ are kept by the power of God. Eternal life is His gift, and our security rests in Christ’s finished work and God’s faithfulness. This assurance calls believers to grateful obedience, not carelessness about sin.

We believe the gospel invitation is freely offered. People are responsible for their response to God and may yield to or resist His influence. We call people to repent and believe the gospel, trusting wholly in Jesus Christ for salvation.

We believe the local church is a body of believers gathered to worship God, teach His Word, pray, fellowship, make disciples, and proclaim the gospel. We observe believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper. These ordinances testify to Christ’s work; they do not provide salvation.

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and bodily. We look for the catching away of the church before the tribulation and for Christ’s coming to reign. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, eternal life for the redeemed, and eternal judgment for those who reject Christ.

The good news is for you
Being a good person or attending church cannot remove our sin. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. Salvation is found in Him.
